Appellants (the Taxpayers) sued the appellees, the Travis Central Appraisal District, the Travis County Appraisal Review Board, and the Tax Assessor-Collector (the Taxing Authorities),*fn1 alleging the Taxing Authorities had improperly increased the Taxpayers' property taxes after the appraisal role had been certified. The Taxpayers asserted that they were excused from exhausting the administrative remedies provided in the tax code by at least one of five exceptions established in Texas jurisprudence. The district court found that the Taxpayers had not exhausted their administrative remedies and dismissed the suit for lack of jurisdiction. For the reasons stated below, we affirm the judgment of the district court.
